Weapons

At the beginnen of the civil war both the union states and the confederate states  were sunning out of weapon supplies, the weapons that they were using were almost obsolete. but eventually both sides got a good amount of standard wepon supplies

Infantry- the basic  weapon that the infantry soldiars would use in a war would be a single-shot, muzzle-loading percussion musket.but by the troops this muskets were called "Springfields" but by the end of the civil war about 1.5 million springfields were bulid.

Cavalry- Now for the cavalery there basic weapon was a short-barrelled carbine. with this weapon u could shoot from 200 yards away. a lot of diffrent desines of this weapon were dessing but at the end 20 different types were eventually adopted by Federal forces.
